Malfunction Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
If a problem is detected in any of the monitored systems, this light is the primary means of notifying the driver that a problem exists.
LOCATION
On the instrument panel.
OPERATION
The ECM also stores a trouble code in erasable memory.
