Fuel Rail: Description and Operation
Fuel Injector Installation
PURPOSE
Delivers pressurized fuel to the injectors.
OPERATION
The fuel line, injectors, and the fuel pressure regulator are all connected to the fuel rail. Pressurized fuel is fed into one end of the Fuel Rail, the
injectors are mounted along the side, and the pressure regulator is mounted to the other side. This arrangement maintains a constant pressure to all
injectors.
