Audible Warning Device: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in ON (II) or START (III), battery voltage is applied to the seat belt reminder light. When the seat belt is not buckled, the seat
belt beeper timer circuit in the integrated control unit senses ground through the closed seat belt switch. The seat belt reminder light flashes ON and OFF
for five seconds. The reminder light and beeper will go OFF when the seat belt is buckled or the timer circuit deactivates them.

Battery voltage is supplied at all times to the ignition key warning beeper circuit in the integrated control unit. When you turn ON the ignition key
switch, the integrated control unit senses ground at G401. If you open the driver's door, the door switch closes, causing the beeper to sound until the door
is closed.
