Cigarette Lighter: Service and Repair

1.  Remove the rear console, then disconnect the 4P connector from the cigarette lighter.
2.  Disconnect the thermofuse case from the socket end.

3.  Remove the thermal protector, and pull out the cigarette lighter socket.
4.  When installing the cigarette lighter, align the lug on the cigarette lighter socket with the slot in the rear console.
5.  Make sure that the ground wire and thermofuse case are properly connected.
