Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

Front Door Outer Handle Replacement

NOTE:  Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the door panel.
2. Raise the glass fully.

3. Remove the plastic cover (A).

1. Remove the plug caps (B).
2. Pass the harnesses (C) through the holes (D) in the plastic cover.

4. Remove the clip, and release the hook (A) from the latch (B), then remove the lock rod protector (C).
