Apply Molykote 77 to the back of the new front brake pads and to both sides of the new shims. Be sure you wipe all excess grease from the shims.

3.

Install the new front brake pads and shims, 

making sure that the pad retainers are properly positioned in the caliper bracket and the wear

indicator is on the inside of the caliper.

4.

Repeat steps 1 thru 3 to replace the brake pads on the other front wheel.

5.

Test-drive the vehicle at a low speed, and apply the brakes to ensure that the noise and vibration are gone.
