1. Install the spring, spring upper seat and spring lower seat.

CAUTION:  Be careful not to pinch the spring upper seat when installing the spring.

NOTE:  Align the bottom of the spring and spring lower seat to lower arm B.

2. Loosely install the two flange nuts on top of the damper.
3. Position a floor jack at the connecting point of lower arm B and the knuckle.

CAUTION:  Be careful not to damage the backing plate.
