Windshield Washer Motor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the left inner fender.
2. Disconnect the 2P connectors from the washer motors.

Wipers/washers-Washer Motor Test

3. Test the washer motors by connecting battery power to the No. 1 terminals and ground to the No. 2 terminals.

If the motors fail to run smoothly or do not run at all, replace them.

If the motors run smoothly, but there is not enough fluid pumped, check for disconnected, blocked or damaged washer hoses.
