Sliding Door Beeper Sounds
SYMPTOM
The sliding door alarm beeps when driving on rough roads or going over bumps.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The contacts of the junction switches on the door edge and the B pillar are not perfectly aligned.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Use the special tool to align the junction switches.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Verify the customer's complaint by test-driving the vehicle on a rough road. Note what conditions cause the door alarm to go oft.
NOTE: It may be necessary to turn into a steep driveway at an angle, or drive over a tall speed bump at an angle, to cause enough body flex to get
the alarm to sound.
2.
Open one of the sliding doors.
