SYMPTOM
The MIL is on, and DTC P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold) is stored.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The catalytic converter has deteriorated.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the catalytic converter, and check for any related DTCs.
