Safety Recall: Odyssey Resonator Chamber
BACKGROUND
In extremely cold, wet weather, water can become trapped in the resonator, and water vapor may be drawn into the throttle body. Ice could form on the
throttle shaft during freezing temperatures, which may cause the throttle to stick in an open position.
CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION
All owners of affected vehicles will be mailed a notification of this recall. An example of the customer letter is at the end of this service bulletin.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Drill two holes in the resonator chamber.

REPAIR PROCEDURE
1.
Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
2.
Remove the clip securing the left front inner fender liner to the bottom of the front bumper.
3.
Remove the liner mounting bolt, then pull back the front of the inner fender liner.
