INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.

Measure the clearance between the A/C suction line and the wire harness, the A/C pressure switch, and the engine oil dipstick. Check for a
minimum clearance of 10 mm at all three locations. If there is less than 10 mm, carefully bend the A/C suction line.

2.

Inspect the wire harness for damage from the A/C suction line.

If the insulation on any of the wires is worn through so the copper wiring is showing, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE A.

If the insulation on any of the wires is damaged, but no copper wiring is showing, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE B.

If no insulation is damaged, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE C.

REPAIR PROCEDURE A

1.

Replace the main wire harness assembly.

2.

Go to REPAIR PROCEDURE C.
