2. Disconnect the 4P connector from the release motor and switch.
3. Test the release motor by connecting power and ground according to the table.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
5. If the actuator does not operate as specified or the continuity is not as specified, replace the unit.
Door Lock Switch Test
Door Lock Switch Test
1. Remove the inner door handle.
2. Remove the two screws (A), then remove the door lock switch (B).
3. Check for continuity between the No.1 and No.2 terminals in each switch position.

There should be no continuity with the door lock switch in LOCK.

There should be continuity with the door lock switch in UNLOCK.
4. Check for continuity between the No.2 and No.3 terminals in each switch position.

There should be continuity with the door lock switch in UNLOCK.

There should be no continuity with the door lock switch in LOCK.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
