4. Remove the parking brake cable (A) from the backing plate (B) using a 12 mm offset wrench (C).
5. Install the parking brake cable in the reverse order of removal.
REAR DISC BRAKE: '02 model
1. Remove the parking brake shoes, and disconnect the parking brake cable from the brake shoe.
2. Remove the parking brake cable (A) from the backing plate (B) using a 12 mm offset wrench (C).
3. Install the parking brake cable in the reverse order of removal, and adjust the parking brake. Apply the parking brake firmly 10 times, then adjust it
again.
