2) Check that the camshaft timing pulley setting mark is aligned with the front cover setting mark.

Loosen the tensioner bolt "B".

-

Allow the tension spring to pull the timing belt as far as possible.

-

Tighten the tensioner bolt "B" to the specified torque.

Torque 19 N-m (14 lb-ft)

12. Timing belt cover

-

Tighten the timing cover fixing bolts to specified torque.

Torque 6 N-m (32 lb-in)

11. Crankshaft pulley

10. Crankshaft pulley fixing bolt

-

Tighten the bolt to specified torque using the special tool, Flywheel holder: J-38674.

Torque 118 N-m (87 lb-ft)

9. Starter motor

-

Tighten the fixing bolt and nut to specified torque.

Torque 86 N-m (63 lb-ft)

8. Power steering pump

7. Water pump pulley

6. Cooling fan

-

Tighten the fixing nuts to specified torque.

Torque 26 N-m (20 lb-ft)

5. Generator drive belt

-

Adjust the drive belt tension.
