Replacement Procedure
REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
1.
Record the radio station presets, then remove the battery.
2.
On 1994 - 95.5 models, disconnect the ignition cables from the spark plugs. On 1996 models, remove the ignition coils from the spark plugs. Do
not remove the spark plugs yet.
3.
While wearing eye protection, clean the spark plug tubes, one at a time:

Spray brake cleaner inside the tube.

Cover the tube with a shop towel and blow the brake cleaner out with compressed air.
4.
On 1994-95.5 models, remove the fuel vapor canister and bracket.
