Insert the removal tool into each tube, then hold the large hex while you tighten the clamping nut.

Attach the slide hammer to the tool.

Hammer upward to pull the tube out.

Remove the tube from the tool.

Discard the tube.

While wearing eye protection, blow compressed air into each spark plug hole, then remove and discard the plugs.

In the spark plug holes, clean the tube mating surfaces with brake cleaner sprayed on a clean shop towel. Let the surfaces dry at least five minutes.

NOTE: 

Before installing the new tubes, make sure the tube mating surfaces are free of scratches, grooves, grease, oil, varnish, and old adhesive.
