Timing Belt: Service and Repair

REMOVAL STEPS

Preparation:

-

Battery negative cable.

-

Rotate crankshaft to position No. 1 cylinder to Top Dead Center (TDC) on the compression stroke by aligning camshaft pulley timing mark.

1. Power steering pump drive belt

2. Air pump drive belt

3. Air conditioning compressor drive belt

4. Air conditioning compressor drive belt tensioner

5. Generator drive belt

6. Cooling fan

-

It is not necessary to remove the cooling fan from the radiator fan shroud.

7. Water pump pulley

8. Power steering pump

9. Starter motor
