Clean the new spark plug tubes with brake cleaner on a shop towel, then let them dry at least five minutes.

Install the new spark plug tube:

Apply a thin, even layer of Loctite 290 adhesive to the first inch of the lower outside surface of the tube.

Insert the special tool into the top of the tube.

Center the tube in the spark plug hole, then tap the tool with a plastic hammer until the tube bottoms out in the hole.
