Wide Open Throttle Switch: Adjustments

1. Open the Throttle Valve by moving the Throttle Linkage away from the Stop Screws.
2. Place a 0.6 mm (0.24 in.) Feeler Gauge on top of the Stop Screw, allowing the Linkage to close onto the Feeler Gauge.

3. Remove the Connector from the Throttle Switch.

4. Using an Ohmmeter, connect the black lead to pin "P" and the red lead to pin "I" of the Wide Open Throttle (WOT) Switch. The Ohmmeter

should show continuity (closed circuit).

5. If the Ohmmeter does not show continuity, loosen the WOT Switch mounting screws slightly and rotate the Switch just to the point where

continuity is attained. Tighten the mounting screws.

NOTE:  Continuity should stop immediately after the Throttle Pedal is pressed.

6. Move the Ohmmeter red lead from pin "I" to pin "F" and verify that continuity exists with the Throttle Linkage in the maximum open position

(WOT).
