To verify the vehicle is equipped with a limited slip differential, open the hood and check for the option code G80 on the ID plate.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Add the LSD lubricant additive listed under REQUIRED MATERIALS to the rear differential.

1.

Remove the rear differential filler plug.

2.

Using a suction gun or a syringe, remove approximately 4 ounces of lubricant from the rear differential.

3.

Add one 4-ounce bottle of LSD lubricant additive to the rear differential, then reinstall the filler plug and tighten it securely.

4.

Drive the vehicle in tight left-hand and right-hand circles, (approximately 10 times each) to distribute the LSD lubricant additive.
