Fuel Pump Relay: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
Controls on and off operation of the in-tank electric fuel pump.
LOCATION
In underhood fuse/relay center.
OPERATION
When ignition switch is turned to "ON" position, fuel pump relay operates pump for 2 seconds. When ignition switch is turned to "START"
position, ECM receives reference pulse from DIS module and operates relay causing pump to feed fuel.
