V-6 only: Remove the radiator hose guide from the support bracket.

4-cylinder only: Remove the bracket from the back of the alternator mounting bracket (two bolts).

Loosen the alternator mounting bolt. V-6 only: Loosen the belt tensioning bolt. All: Remove the alternator adjusting bolt. Disconnect the drive belt
from the alternator.

7.

Disconnect the regulator connector from the back of the alternator.

8.

Remove the alternator mounting bolt, nut, and lock washer.

9.

Disconnect the B terminal wire from the alternator.
4-cylinder: Press the lock tab and remove the connector. V-6: Remove the nut and lock washer.

10.

Remove the alternator from the vehicle.
