Ball Joint: Service and Repair
Lower Ball Joint
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove wheel and tire assembly.
2. Mark position of torsion bar adjusting bolt for resetting trim height. Then loosen torsion bar adjusting bolt.
3. Remove lower ball joint cotter pin, then the retaining nut.
4. Remove four lower ball joint to lower control arm retaining bolts, then the ball joint.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
