a. This means that connection between the Lamp and the TCM is shorted to ground.
b. Verify if Instrument Panel Terminal 4 of connector 1-5 is shorted to ground.
c. Verify if the TCM Connector B-40 Terminal C10 is shorted to ground.
d. Verify that the Instrument Panel Terminal 1 of Connector 1-5 is connected to Battery.
e. If problem is solved, go to Check Trans. Indicator.
f.
If problem is not solved, go to TCM MEM-CAL Replacement. See: Control Module/Service and Repair
5. CASE: It is stays "OFF" with the Ignition "ON" (Engine "OFF").
a. This means that connection between the Lamp and the TCM is shorted to Battery or opened.
b. Verify if Instrument Panel Terminal 4 of Connector 1-5 is shorted to Battery or open.
c. Verify if the TCM Connector B-40 Terminal C10 is shorted to Battery or open.
d. Verify that the Instrument Panel Terminal 1 of Connector 1-5 is connected to Battery. If not check the fuses and the connections (Terminal 8 of
Connector H-27) voltage.
e. If problem is solved, go to Check Trans. Indicator.
f.
If problem is not solved, go to Transmission Control Module.
