Install the new drive plate bolt, then hold the drive plate with a drive plate holder (KMT-J33939 or equivalent), and torque the bolt to 13 Nm (9.5
lb-ft).

Check the clutch clearance with a feeler gauge; it should be 0.3 to 0.6 mm (0.010 to 0.020 in.).

If the clearance is incorrect, remove the drive plate, and add shims from the kit or remove shims until you get the correct clearance (see steps 18,
19, and 20).

NOTE: Always use the fewest shims to get the correct clearance. For example, if the clearance needs to be increased by 0.8 mm, use an 0.8 mm shim:
don't use a 0.3 and a 0.5 mm shim.

22.

Reinstall the power steering pump pulley, then hold it with a universal holder (T/N 07725-0030000) while you torque the pulley bolt to 78 Nm (58
lb-ft).

23.

Reinstall the radiator fan shroud and the fan assembly. Torque the fan assembly nut and two bolts to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

24.

Reinstall the serpentine belt.

25.

Reinstall the intake air duct, MAF sensor, and air filter upper housing assembly.

26.

Replace fuse No.5 (10A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box.

27.

Check the operation of the A/C.
