Remove and discard the old breather hose assembly. Save the hose clamp.

Using the old hose clamp, install the new breather hose assembly.

If the vehicle is 2WD, go to step 33.

If the vehicle is 4WD, go to step 28.

Remove the rear section of the center console.

Loosen the parking brake cable adjuster.

Inspect the parking brake shoes. Make sure the ends of all the brake shoes are firmly seated against their anchor pins. If they're not, loosen the
cable adjuster until they are.

Reinstall each rear brake disc, with two lug nuts, finger-tight.

Adjust the parking brake shoes:

Remove the adjusting hole plug, and turn the adjusting screw clockwise until the parking brake drum is locked. Do not overtighten. Repeat on
the other side.

Turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise until the drum will turn with no drag (about seven notches). Repeat on the other side.

Tighten the parking brake cable adjuster, then apply the brake and check how far the lever moves. Repeat this until the lever stops at six to
eight clicks. Make sure the discs do not drag once the parking brake has been released.

Reinstall all removed parts, and, on 2WD vehicles, bleed the rear brakes.
