ASSEMBLY

1. Rocker arm [7]

-

Apply a light coat of engine oil to the rocker arm shafts.

-

Rocker arm shafts are different, so care should be taken when reinstalling rocker shafts.

-

All rocker arms on rocker shaft inlet should be installed in the same direction.

-

Install a wave washer between rocker arm inlet and rocker arm exhaust. 

2. Rocker shaft assembly (Intake side) [6]

-

Tighten rocker shafts bolts in sequence shown in illustration to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

3. Rocker shaft assembly (Exhaust side) [5]

-

Tighten rocker shaft bolts in sequence shown in illustration to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

NOTE:  When installing the rocker shaft assembly to the cylinder head, both of the rocker arm ends should be contacted with each other as shown.

5. Camshaft bracket housing fixing bolts [3]
6. Front plate [2]
7. Camshaft timing pulley [1]
