Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
PCM Removal and Installation
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Block the wheels.
3. Remove the four screws attaching the console and lift the console upward to allow removal of the PCM cover.
4. Remove the PCM front cover by using finger pressure to push inward at the side of the cover while simultaneously pulling the cover toward the
rear.
5. Remove the four screws which attach the PCM side cover.
6. Remove the PCM side cover.
