Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Rear Shock
PREPARATION: Raise the vehicle on a hoist.
REMOVAL
1. Nut and washer, lower.
2. Nut and washer, upper.
3. Shock absorber.
INSTALLATION
3. Shock absorber.
2. Nut and washer, upper. Torque to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
1. Nut and washer, lower. Apply rubber grease to the inside of the rubber bushing. Torque to 40 Nm (29 ft. lbs.).
