Rear Beverage Holder Will Not Stay Closed 
(Supersedes 98-027, dated May 5, 1998)

SYMPTOM
One or both of the magnetic latches do not hold the rear beverage holder closed.

PROBABLE CAUSE
*The metal striker plate does not stay bonded to the plastic, or the cover is not flat.*

CORRECTIVE ACTION
*Replace the rear console cover.*
