Remove the front hub and rotor assemblies. Follow steps 1 thru 6 on page 4C-3 of the 1998 or 1999 Passport Service Manual.

Refinish both front brake rotors. Minimum rotor thickness is 24.97 mm.

Repack the front wheel bearings with grease, and reinstall the hub and rotor assemblies. Install a new axle hub seal using a dead-blow hammer.
Follow steps 6 thru 11 on pages 4C-6 and 4C-7 of the service manual.

5.

Install the new brake pad kit listed under PARTS INFORMATION. Apply the gray grease to the brake pad shims, and apply the red grease to the
caliper slide pins.
