Place the new pipe and hose assembly on a flat surface. Use the 20 mm side of the clearance template to measure the clearance between the pipe
and the surface.

If the clearance is 20 mm, continue to step 7.

If the clearance is more or less than 20 mm, remove the hose clamp and twist the pipe inside the hose until you have 20 mm of clearance.
Reinstall the hose clamp, then go to step 7.

Apply a lubricating soap solution to both ends of the pipe and hose assembly, and to the purge line and the purge hose in the vehicle. Do not use
oil or similar products.

Place a hose clamp from the kit over the purge line in the vehicle. Install the hose end of the pipe and hose assembly on the purge line. Support the
purge line with your hand so you do not twist or bend the line.
