Using the smallest setting on the crimper tool (T/N 07NGZ-001010A), attach a joint connector from the repair kit to the end of each wire.

Cut the three wires of the new rear speed sensor sub-harness 50 mm from the end of the corrugated tubing.

Remove 6 to 7 mm of insulation from each of the three wires. Be careful not to nick or cut any of the wire strands.

Using the smallest setting on the crimper tool, attach the three wires to the joint connectors on the matching wires of the wire harness.

Heat each joint connector evenly with the heat gun until a glue bead forms on the end of each connector.

Cover the spliced wires with the corrugated tubing from the wire harness, then wrap the entire area with three layers of electrical tape. Make sure
each layer of tape covers about 20 mm more of the wire harness and sub-harness tubing than the previous layer.

13.

Cover the wrapped area with the corrugated tubing from the kit, centering the tubing over the area. Secure the ends of the tubing with electrical
tape as shown.
