2. Secure the VSS in place with the clamp and the bolt.
3. Tighten the bolt to 27 Nm (20 lb ft.).
4. Connect the VSS electrical connector.
5. Check the transfer case oil level. Add fluid if necessary.
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
