Note the location of the washers and the springs.

Set the TORX bolts and the springs aside; they won't be reused.

Reinstall the plate (use four new silver springs and four new TORX bolts):
^
Use the shaft of a screwdriver, or similar tool, to help align the horn plate to the steering wheel.
^
Torque the bolts to 5.5 N~m (48 lb-in).
12.
Press the audio, cruise-control, and horn switch connectors into the clips, then attach the main connector.
13.
Reinstall the airbag in the reverse order of removal. Use two new TORX bolts. Torque the bolts to 9.8 N.m (7.2 lb-ft).
NOTE:
Torque the bolts evenly (alternate from the left side to the right side) to ensure the correct alignment of the airbag. Misalignment can cause the
horn to sound when slamming doors, shifting gears, or driving over bumps.

Install the access panel.

Reconnect the negative battery cable.
16.
Enter the anti-theft codes for the radio and the navigation system, then enter the customer's radio station presets. Reset the clock.
17.
Reset the power window control unit:

Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then back to ON (II).

Move the driver's window all the way down by holding the driver's switch firmly down to the second detent. When the window reaches the
bottom, hold the driver's window switch in the DOWN position for 2 seconds.

Move the driver's window all the way up, without stopping, by holding the driver's switch firmly up to the second detent. When the window
reaches the top, hold the driver's window switch in the UP position for 2 seconds.
18.
Do the idle learn procedure:
^
Make sure all electrical items (NC, audio unit, defogger, lights, etc.) are off.
^
Start the engine, and let it warm up to its normal operating temperature (the cooling fans cycle twice).
^
Let the engine idle (throttle closed and all electrical items off) for 10 minutes.
