Countershaft Sensor: Service and Repair
Countershaft Speed Sensor Replacement
1. Disconnect countershaft speed sensor connector.
2. Remove the bolt securing the countershaft speed sensor, then remove the countershaft speed sensor (A) from the transmission housing.
3. Install the new O-ring (B) on the countershaft speed sensor, then install the countershaft speed sensor in the transmission housing. Do not allow
dust or foreign particles to enter the transmission.
4. Check for rust, dirt, or oil, then connect the connector securely.
