1.
Inspect the new inner fender for a hole and a spring nut 165 mm (6.5 in.) up from the leading edge.

If there is a hole and a spring nut, go to step 4.

If there is no hole and spring nut, go to step 2.
2.
Measure 165 mm (6.5 in.) from the bottom of the inner fender, and drill a 5 mm hole 3 mm from the edge.
3.
Shave the lip off of the edge of the inner fender with a razor blade, and install the spring nut.
4.
Temporarily install the inner fender on the vehicle.
5.
Mark the center of the hole on the lip of the bumper 8 mm from the inside edge, and drill a 5 mm hole in the lip of the bumper at the same height
as the hole in the inner fender.
6.
Install the self-tapping screw through the bumper into the spring nut.
