REVISION SUMMARY
*^ Under WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION, one operation number was changed, and another operation was added.

Under REPAIR PROCEDURE, the CKP pattern clear and learn procedures were added.*
SYMPTOM
The MIL comes on with DTC P0300 (random cylinder misfire detected and at least one of DTCs P0301 through P0306 (No.1 through 6 cylinder misfire
detected).
PROBABLE CAUSE
The PGM-FI software misinterprets inputs, causing the DTCs to set.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Adjust the valve clearance, and update the PGM-FI software with the HDS.
SOFTWARE INFORMATION
HDS Software Version:
2.020.018 or later. HDS Control Module (CM) Update:
Database Update 27-NOV-2009 or later.
NOTE:
To avoid an incorrect repair that would not be covered under warranty, use the software version listed above or a later version.
The updated PGM-FI software program IDs and P/Ns are listed below. If the HDS is loaded with the latest software, and it displays No Update Needed
during the update, the software for this service bulletin is already installed.
