8. For 2WD models: Remove the rear axle shaft from the knuckle.
9. Remove the brake disc/drum retaining flat screws (A).
10. Screw two 8 x 1.25 mm bolts (B) into the brake disc/drum to push it away from the hub. Turn each bolt two turns at a time to prevent cocking the
disc excessively.
11. Remove the brake disc/drum and rear hub. Check the rear hub for damage and cracks.
12. Remove the parking brake shoes, and parking brake cable.
13. Remove the lock pin (A) from the upper arm ball joint, then loosen the nut (B).
NOTE: During installation, install the new lock pin after tightening the nut.
14. Disconnect the upper arm ball joint from the knuckle using the special tool.
15. Remove the flange nut (B), washer, and flange bolt (C), then remove the lower arm A.
