All owners of affected cars will be notified of this update by mail. Owners will be asked to contact their nearest Honda dealer for replacement of the

Use operation number 120170 and defect code 477 with a total time of 0.2 hour. Keep all warranty parts for inspection by your DSM.
This Product Update is in effect for the length of the applicable emissions warranty.
Dear Honda Owner, Certain 1983 Preludes have two vacuum hoses on their engines that should be replaced. If the hoses aren't replaced, they'll
deteriorate and eventually let air leak into the intake manifold; then the engine won't idle as smoothly as it should. To prevent this, a Honda dealer can
install new hoses made of more durable material.
Our records show your Prelude is one of these cars. If you still own the car, please call your Honda dealer and make an appointment with the Service
Department to have the new hoses installed, free of charge.
If you no longer own the car, please fill out and return the enclosed postage-paid card.
