Fuel Shut-off Solenoid Relay: Testing and Inspection
Fuel Cut-Off Relay
1.
With ignition switch off, reach behind fuse box and remove the fuel pump cut-off relay.

Connect positive probe of voltmeter to the Black/Yellow terminal at the fuel pump cut-off relay connector (from the ignition switch) and negative
probe to ground. Turn the ignition on and check for battery voltage.

If no voltage is indicated, check fuse and wiring between relay and ignition switch.

If voltage is indicated, proceed to step 3.
Relay Voltage Check

Connect positive probe of voltmeter to the Blue terminal at fuel pump cut-off relay connector and negative probe to ground. Turn the ignition on
and check for battery voltage.

If no voltage is indicated, check blue wire circuit between connector and ignition coil negative terminal.

If voltage is indicated, proceed to step 4.
