Window regulator makes a "creaking" noise, or the window is hard to roll up or down.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Remove the window regulator.
2.
With a slot head screwdriver, pry up on the sector gear cover to create a 0.5 mm clearance between the cover and the gear rack.
Regulator Shaft
3.
Turn the regulator shaft with the window crank until the sector gear disengages from the rack. Select a socket that clears the sides of the main
pivoting rivet, support the underside of the regulator, then tap the socket to loosen the pivot.
