Fuel Gauge: Testing and Inspection
1. Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit electrical connector and connect yellow/white and black terminals, at power source side, with a jumper wire.
2. Turn ignition switch to on position and ensure pointer of fuel gauge starts moving toward F. Turn ignition switch to Off position within 5
seconds, before pointer reaches F mark.
3. If pointer of fuel gauge does not move, check fuse, wiring harness and connector and, if all is satisfactory, replace fuel gauge.
