Primary Slow Mixture Cut-Off Solenoid Valve: Description and Operation

The primary slow mixture cut-off solenoid valve is provided to cut off the idle mixture passage upstream of the bypass port to prevent engine from
running on after the ignition switch is turned off.
This solenoid valve also functions to stop mixture flow from slow fuel system during vehicle deceleration in order to save fuel consumption. When
vehicle is decelerating, the control unit identifies the condition and deactivates the solenoid valve to close the mixture passage.
The control unit receives signals from the TW sensor, MAP sensor, vacuum switch, speed sensor, ignition coil, gear position switch and ignition
switch
