SYMPTOM
A clunking or creaking noise from the rear steering gearbox when the steering wheel is rocked from side to side.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the rear steering gearbox with the new part listed under PARTS INFORMATION. Follow the procedures in the Power Steering section of the
appropriate service manual.
NOTE:
When replacing the rear steering gearbox, you must also replace the two tie rod lock washers listed below.
