Backup Lamp Switch: Service and Repair
1. Disconnect the connectors from the switch.
2. Check for continuity between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals.

There should be continuity when the shift lever is in reverse.

There should be no continuity when the shift lever is in any position except reverse.
3. If necessary, replace the switch.
