REPAIR PROCEDURE A
*1.
Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the audio unit (and navigation code, if equipped), then write down the audio presets.
2.
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery first, then disconnect the positive cable.*
3.
Remove the left side bed panel:

Refer to page 20-162 of the 2006-2008 Ridgeline Service Manua4 or

Online, enter keyword PANEL, and select Side Bed Panel Removal/Installation from the list.
4.
Remove the left taillight assembly:

Refer to page 22-178 of the service manual, or
^
Online, enter keywords EXTERIOR LIGHT, and select Taillight Replacement from the list.
5.
Locate the lop trailer harness socket connector (C629) clipped to the rear bed floor crossmember.
6.
Remove connector C629 from the frame, and disconnect it. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the retainer from the vehicle side of the connector
housing.
