Parking Brake Rear Cable Replacement - Right Side

Removal Procedure

1. Release the park brake.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle  (See: Maintenance/Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair) .

3. Relieve the tension from the park brake cable by pulling down on the park brake cable in front of the equalizer and removing the right rear park

brake cable from the equalizer bar.

4. Remove the park brake cable from the frame bracket.

5. Remove the bolt (1) from the park brake cable clip.
6. Remove the park brake cable from the frame brackets (2).
