4. Remove the HECU bracket mounting bolts and remove the HECU.

CAUTION:  
1. Never attempt to disassemble the HECU
2. The HECU must be transported and stored in an upright position and with the ports sealed. The HECU must not be drained.

Tightening torque
HECU bracket mounting bolt: 8 - 10 Nm (80 - 100 kg-cm, 6 - 7.3 ft. lbs.) 

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the HECU, then connect the brake lines.

Tighten the HECU mounting bolts and brake tube nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
HECU mounting bolt: 8 - 10 Nm (80 - 100 kg-cm, 6 - 7.3 ft. lbs.) 
Brake tube nut:  13 - 17 Nm (130 - 170 kg-cm, 10 - 12 ft. lbs.) 

2. Connect the HECU connector.
3. Bleed the brake system.
4. Start the engine, and check that the ABS indicator goes off.
5. Test-drive the vehicle, and check that the ABS indicator does not come on.
